As at Midday 21 March 2020 New Zealand is on Alert Level 2
Together we can slow the spread
All of us have been thrust into an unprecedented era of health management, in a very short space of time.
There are clear procedures in place on https://covid19.govt.nz/ for anyone who has been in NZ for less than
14 days, or is showing symptoms of the virus, or has had contact with someone showing symptoms, or
contact with someone who has travelled from overseas in the last 14 days.

The Government released the 4 Covid-19 Alert Levels today. New Zealand is at Level 2. The Government is
also asking people over 70 years of age, or people who have compromised immunity or have underlying
respiratory conditions to stay at home as much as they can.
The current mantra for all other New Zealanders is based on
Shop Normal
Personal hygiene
Physical distancing
Limit non-essential travel
Being kind

Yachting New Zealand (YNZ) has published helpful information in support of clubs making their own
decisions on whether they remain open.

PRSC’s 2020 Activities Program is ON HOLD until further notice
This is a time for us all to adjust to the situation we are in, get our heads around what we are required to
do, and be creative with each other, to help New Zealand beat the virus.
PRSC holds dear the ways in which we look out for each other. We can keep in touch by phone and social
media and our website if you have a good idea for members or would like a chat.
