Results for Founders Day 2023 (PRSC 5th year )
First 4 races to count towards Founders Trophy , then the rest were for to complete the days sailing in a light breeze. For the IOM all races to go towards the winter serries.

Founders Day, and 5th Birthday Celebration race Officers Report.
The day started with little to no wind, fortunately for me, Gareth was on hand and assisted me in directing Paul to set a course.
My assistant RO was David W, who quickly drew up the results board to record the finishes, as today was a special day for PRSC. Founders Day, and the prize we all sailed for were two very nice wooden shields, one for the DF95 fleet, and one for the IOM fleet.
After a brief, briefing, Paul said a few words, welcoming everyone to the day, and a special welcome to our newest member sailing DF 509. Then it was into the racing.
I was fortunate enough to be able to sail in the IOM fleet as part of our IOM Winter Series, to which I owe thanks to Pete N DF 125, who didn’t hesitate to step in as RO 2 IC, while we sailed. Thanks Pete.

We also sailed with Bruces latest toy, his GPS Bouy which was used for some strategic mark placing.
The day was finished off with a quick speech and cutting of the special 5th Birthday chocolate cake. Another of Bruces talents….cake cutting.
